Tips To Living Your Life On The Journey To Your Dream Life

I have decided to share some simple tips that you can implement into your life immediately. Often, we receive information and advice that is complicated to carry out; there are just too many steps. We cannot envision how to add this or that into our routine, so we become overwhelmed and, instead, do nothing.
Greetings!

I am really happy to be a writer for Be Well Magazine, and I decided my first article should encourage living your best life. As a Personal Development and Confidence Coach, I help my clients create a life that they love—RIGHT NOW. So basically, living their best life on the journey to living their dream life.

I want to give you some action items that you can start doing RIGHT NOW to create your best life! 

The first four are things that you need to STOP doing. They are causing you unnecessary stress. Following these are six action items that you should START doing today. Are you ready?

​Stop doing this: 
  1. Stop feeling unworthy – When you say or think that you are not good enough, you are not appreciating the greatness that is in you. 
  2. Stop hanging around with negative people – Some people are just negative about life. They never see the good in anything. Being around them for any length of time makes you take on those same negative vibes.
  3. Stop living in the past – The past is just that—the past. It is gone. Do not waste your time thinking about what didn’t work, what you didn’t do, or what should have been. Leave the past in the past.
  4. Stop comparing yourself to other people – This is a big one, and with social media it can be hard not to see all of the great things others are doing, and wonder why your life is not as fabulous. Don’t do that to yourself. You ARE fabulous. Where you are is where you are supposed to be at this time. If changes need to be made, don’t compare. DO something.
Do this:     
  1. Take responsibility for your life – You make decisions for what is right for you. You are the person that can make things happen in your life.
  2. Experiment with life – Start doing new things. Step outside of your comfort zone and do things that you have always wanted to do. Try something new everyday, once a week, or whenever you choose. Stretch yourself.
  3. Develop an action plan and implement – Do not just wait around for things to happen. Decide what outcomes you desire, then create your action plan and start executing. Schedule these items on a calendar so that you will hold yourself accountable. 
  4. Find a Mentor – Is there someone who is modeling the traits that you would like, or who is doing the things that you would like to do? Ask them if they would consider mentoring you.
  5. Be Grateful – Find something daily that you are grateful for. ​
  6. Stick with it – The hardest thing to do  is to stick with it once you have decided to do something different. On this best life journey, you will be stalled at different times. Just don’t stop. Stick with it.

When you allow the real YOU to come out—doing what you want to do and what you are destined to do, you will be able to celebrate living YOUR BEST LIFE!
