By Stephanie D. Morris, Be Well Platinum Express Member With all the things we are facing in our world, in our lives, to secure and maintain inner peace is "priceless". As business owners and career specialists we wear many hats. There are times where we are juggling the professional hat and the personal hat at the same moment hoping one does not fall off. "Whoooosa sis". Yes, it is definitely necessary to take a deep breath to stabilize those hectic responsibilities. Inner peace is necessary to our bodies, mind and heart. It is something we can not live without. To gain inner peace is a treasure. Inner peace comes from knowing that there is a higher power, force, energy, creator who will assist us when things get out of control.
For myself to gain inner peace I pray or listen to pleasing music. Sometimes I take a walk to enjoy nature. Looking at how the trees are shaped and how their branches blow in the wind gives me a sense of "all will be ok". Just realizing how majestic this world is created allows me to take a step back from my challenges of the moment and know there is a bigger picture and there is also a solution to my problems. Self-care is a definite must when you are seeking inner peace. Being able to take time to pamper yourself and treat yourself to a massage, thirty minutes of reading or twenty minute walk. Even ordering a nice meal to enjoy while watching a favorite movie. All with the intention that "I am worthy to rest my mind and body". You see continuous activity of solving challenges that will come from our business, and personal lives without taking time to breathe, close our eyes and rest will cause dis-ease "disease". You are worthy ❤️. Say that three times, while taking deep breaths and really feel it. I am worthy I am worthy I am wooorthy….whoosa Yes, that's it! How did that feel? Did you close your eyes while saying it? Securing inner peace, knowing "All will be well" even in the midst of a tragedy is available to us when we realize we are unique, masterpieces created so wonderfully by the master creator whom I call "Abba". So dust off the crown, place it squarely on your head and walk confidently in the purpose you were created for. Whoosa, you got this sis!
