According to the State of Female Entrepreneurship Report conducted by VISA in 2019, 79% of women entrepreneurs feel more empowered than ever before, but they’re struggling to generate enough revenue to grow their business and pay themselves a proper income. When the women surveyed in the Visa report were asked what would be helpful, they expressed interest in growing and promoting their business, specifically by improving digital marketing (59%), better using social media to promote their business (50%), learning how to conveniently accept and make payments (32%) and connecting with experts from other local businesses for collaboration and support (40%).
