About Dr. Michelle Cromwell
Dr. Michelle Cromwell is an equity-centered scholar, master conflict coach, dialogue facilitator, and integrative wellness practitioner (yoga, reiki, plant-based nutrition, hypnotherapy, and sonic sound). They developed the S.EL.F. concept which supports those they work with to stress less, eat good, and live free using mind/body techniques. Growing up in a home that supported her exploration of vegetarianism at the age of 18 years, Dr. Michelle knows the value of whole food plant-based nutrition and now holds a certificate in Plant-based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell’s Center for Nutritional Studies.
As a yogi, they developed the model Transformative Fusion that combines the benefits of conflict transformation theory with the principles of Hatha Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. It enables the people they work with to achieve states of awareness, balance, and courage (their new ABC) that liberates their physical, intellectual, and emotional selves.
Dr. Michelle works one-on-one with clients, conducts group experiences, and develops corporate wellness opportunities for organizations to teach their members to use integrative wellness as an end goal to find an authentic presence by practicing postures, breath control, meditation, and contemplation all to achieve health, strength, and holistic wellness.
In addition, they bring almost two decades of experience as an equity, diversity, and inclusion scholar- practitioner. They hold a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University in Florida where they were inducted as one of Nova Southeastern University’s Distinguished Alumni, for work in social justice and restorative practices. In addition to the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion work, Dr. Michelle serves as an independent consultant with emphasis on organizational transformation, crisis management, and equity-centered inclusion. Michelle works with Universities, Colleges, Hospitals, Healthcare Organizations, executives, B2Cs, B2Bs, and emerging leaders to identify, address, and resolve their Organizational PAIN (persistent aggravations and identified negatives) points.
Dr. Michelle uses their boutique travel business to curate and lead transformational retreats for women that teaches them to step into their glory as global goddesses while stressing less, eating good, and living liberated lives curated by authenticity, boldness, and compassion for self, then others. In their spare time, they enjoy developing whole-food plant-based recipes to mimic favorite foods from a West Indian childhood.
