By Dr. Brenetia Adams-Robinson In our post-pandemic world, we are hearing a lot as it relates to collaborating in order to make success happen. From corporate entities bringing resources together for community problem solving, to team members collaborating to enhance special project outcomes, to individuals bringing resources together to ensure success for the collective whole; collaboration has proven to lead to stronger, more productive outcomes for all.

By Crystal Thompson Entrepreneurship is often a lonely road to travel. Be Well Magazine maintains a duty and commitment to provide an impressive cache of networking opportunities and business connections to make that road less daunting. In this issue, I am personally psyched and excited to report that success is not reserved only for the solo artist.
By Cyrena Martin You never make that initial contact or introduce yourself. Why is there such hesitation to jump at the opportunity to congratulate our sisters for their style, charisma, and accomplishments? And even more importantly, why don’t successful, powerful women in leadership take the time to coach, mentor and uplift those who are struggling to start a business, get promoted, or secure a seat in the executive board room?
By Jojopahmaria Nsoroma Although I have always believed that two or more brains are better than one when taking the necessary risks to achieve your dreams, it has taken me about 40 years to attract and work with colleagues who are not only talented but healthy, functional, and fun.
By Tamara Washington Great, fantastic and AMAZING day, world!! I am more than excited to take my place on this platform and excel on the Be Well Network. Even more than that, I am elated to provide insight on the topic of Collaborative Economics being TODAY’s new currency!!
By Dr. Keisha Tate Hey You, Black Woman!
Recently, I along with six other black female doctors wrote a book titled, The Black Woman’s Health O Pedia. We could no longer sit on the sidelines and watch our sisters succumb to health conditions that could possibly be eradicated with the proper knowledge, resources, and guidance. With alarming statistics like the ones below, it is time we RISE UP and share our knowledge and expertise to help our sisters. By Yolanda Anderson Wagner As I began to write this article, I asked myself when and why. When did I decide I want to be an entrepreneur? Why did I want to become an entrepreneur?
Let’s face it…we all take that deep dive into transforming the dirty, residential abyss! Spring cleaning is an age-old custom.
By Tiffany Fehr Spring is a time of transformation. The trees that shed their leaves during fall and winter start blooming again. The flowers begin to bud. The grass is coming back to life. There is a crisp freshness and sense of newness in the air. It is also a season of resurrection, a time where new life springs from the dry ground. Some of this new growth happens naturally, but often we have to plant new seeds and nurture them. We have to water what we want to grow and remove weeds that could be hindering the growth of new plants.
By Lydia Beasley facebook.com/BROWNBEASLEY Planning is needed in every aspect of our lives and should be viewed as a necessity. We often say, "I plan to do it", but never take action on establishing steps. Because there is always so much to do, proper planning cannot be ignored; especially, when you want to succeed.
You have every reason to make planning a part of your routine. Would you say "I have too much money so I don’t need to plan?" or, "I don’t have enough money to follow a plan?" Neither scenario makes sense. There is always room for a plan, no matter what stage of life and regardless of age. A five year old will likely develop a habit of planning simply by having a scheduled routine everyday. Starting young, of course, establishes a great foundation. |
